Marketing and Business Development Specialist

This position will be responsible for working with the Sales team to drive, track and execute existing sales initiative while developing new potential growth initiatives working directly for the President of Brown Security.

The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, strong analytical thinker, strong communicator, and strong PC skills on the Microsoft suite of products.  This person must be capable of maintaining a high level of confidentiality and take pride in their work.

Expectations and Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Growth Initiatives:
    • Work directly with Sales team to drive, track and execute existing sales growth initiatives through daily, weekly, and monthly campaigns.
    • Work directly with President of Brown Security on identifying and developing new growth verticals for Brown Security to expand into.


  • Corporate Branding Initiatives:
    • Facilitate continuous development of the company’s branding strategy, including:
      • Updates to the corporate website
      • Social media updates (LinkedIn, etc.)
      • Mass mailings and emails
      • Develop campaigns to continuously get the Brown Security Solutions brand in front of potential customers.


  • Support the Sales Team
    • Work with our Sales Representatives on customizing presentation materials and RFP submittals. 
    • Assist Brown Security President with special projects and initiatives for the Sales Department


  • Support the President of Brown Security Solutions.
    • Inside sales support including customer meeting action item tracking and completion, new project & proposal processing, and direct customer follow-ups.
    • Support and develop inside sales initiatives for the President.
    • Assisting the President with special projects for customers and for Brown Security.
    • Coordinate travel plans when needed and manage the President’s calendar.


  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must embrace challenges, with positive communication both internally and externally.
  • Experience in a customer service role is a must.
  • Able to remember and understand multiple tasks and assignments over various periods of time.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a fun and professional work culture.
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
