Service Coordinator
The person in this position will be responsible for handling incoming customer requests for service, and dispatching a responding Field Service Technician to each request. This person will be responsible for assisting the Field Service team in scheduling, fulfilling parts requests, and communicating effectively with customers both verbally and in writing. This position is a key member of our organization, and must promote a positive atmosphere in a fast paced and growing customer service environment.
Service Coordinator Expectations and Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls to our Main Office phone lines.
- Utilize two service portals to dispatch Field Service Technicians to service calls efficiently.
- Support the Field Service staff as our Internal Customers.
- Provide superior customer service to our External Customers.
- Must embrace challenges with a positive attitude at all times.
- Run monthly service reports for customers who have Service Maintenance Contracts.
- Update weekly data used to maintain operational excellence throughout the Service Dept.
- Generate purchase orders for parts needed for service requests.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years in a service support position.
- Must be able to handle many responsibilities, and prioritize based on customer needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must embrace challenges, with positive communication both internally and externally.
- Have a positive attitude at all times.
- Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel.
Preferred, but not Required:
- Experience in a Service Coordinator or Dispatcher position.
